Coming from a family of artists in different media: illustration, graphics and fashion design - you can see these influences throughout my work. I am interested in the minutiae of life, I am inspired by the ordinary – looking harder at things we take for granted. I am particularly fond of the wildlife I see around me at my studio in Houndsmoor and my work reflects my enjoyment of language and its’ humour. I work in a variety of mediums from acrylics, oils, watercolours and silk screen. I do work to commission as well as now developing a collection of items for sale ranging from tea towels, cushions, door-stops to other more quirky decorative items.
